PGC #16: Baby Mine

I loved Heather's challenge on Paper Girls Challenge - do a project about your baby, whatever that may be.  That was easy for me.  I had just printed 2 pictures of my "babies" from our recent family vacation.  I love how Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook papers worked for these picture.  I used the 6x6 pad to make the "quilted" background so I didn't have to waste 12x12 paper.  ;-)  After I figured out my grid, I went to work doodling around the squares.  I have to say, this came out as one of my favorite layouts I have done lately.

I can't believe my "baby boy" just recently kindergarten (he is growing up too fast...).  To see the frame I made to commemorate that day, scroll down or click here.

I'm so glad you stopped by. If you are new here, I would love it if you would click that little "Follow" button over there on the right. When I hit 100 followers, I will give away a little blog candy. Now, who doesn't like candy? ;-) And for every increment of 50, I will add another prize. How does that sound?
Don't forget you have until Sept 29th to link up your "My Baby" layout to The Paper Girls Challenge site.  Happy creating!

Cheers!

  1. so sweet...I like quilted grid a lot because it is a great way to mix patterns without having them feel too busy or "heavy"...your kiddos are adorable :)
